94th Academy Awards was by far the most entertaining and record-breaking award show. After two years, The Academy Award show returned with three female hosts. Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes represented women of African American descent, the LGBTQ community, and gender pay.
Some of the best dressed for the night was Zendaya graced the red carpet in her glittering silver Valentino skirt and cropped satin shirt. Timothee Chalamet wore a Louis Vuitton blazer and high-waisted pants, and silver jewelry that made his sparkly blazer stand out. Kristen Stewart popped out in a plain black and white yet sizzling hot Chanel short suit.
Arianna Debose made history as the first Afro Latina and openly queer woman of color to win an Oscar for her role as Anita in West Side Story.
CODA was the big winner of the night. The Netflix film made history winning an Oscar for best-adapted screenplay. Troy Aktur became the first deaf man in film history to win this award for his role in CODA.
Will Smith stole the show with the infamous face slap of Chris Rock. A joke made by Rock about Jada Pinkett Smith sent Will into a rage. Despite the drama, Will Smith won an Oscar for best actor in his role as Richard in the film King Richard.
