She is Sum Seriouss born Alexis Western an American rap artist straight out of Houston, Texas. Sum Seriouss is a 24-year-old lyrical underground goddess coming for the top stop in this industry. With a compared style of Nikki Minaj, Glorilla, and Dymond her rapping style is yet unique. “I’m Sum Seriouss I can’t compare myself to nobody!
Growing up in the hood, Sum Seriouss saw a lot of her friends and family members fall victim to the streets. It was an uphill battle for her to stay out of trouble and make something of herself. Music became her outlet, and she started writing songs as a way to express his feelings.

Despite not having any family support, Sum Seriouss looked up to Master P, Mia X, Roxanne Shante, and Tyler perry as inspirations for her music career. She also lost several god brothers at a young age who were also very influential to her. She is an independent artist who has managed to do everything on her own from creating her music to marketing and promoting it.

Though it’s been a difficult journey, she is determined to achieve her dream. Sum Seriouss is currently working on an EP that plans to be release by the end of the year. “I don’t want to be boxed into one genre – I want my music to reflect the many different sides of my personality” she replied. “My EP will highlight me, where I’m from, what I been through basically my life.” The first single from the EP will be GLO FlO.
