Rapper PnB Rock Dies After Being Shot in Los Angeles

Grammy-nominated rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery at a Los Angeles restaurant on Monday, according to reports from the Los Angeles Times and Rolling Stone. He was 30 years old.
PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen, rose to prominence in 2017 with his hit single “Selfish.” The Philadelphia-born artist had since released two studio albums and collaborated with stars like Cardi B and Post Malone.

Earlier this year, PnB Rock made headlines after he was involved in a physical altercation captured on video at a Philadelphia airport. In the footage, which has been widely circulated online, an unarmed PnB Rock is seen fighting off several men before being knocked unconscious. It is not clear if that incident is related to his death. Our thoughts are with PNB Rock’s friends and family during this difficult time.
