Texas Southern University men’s basketball team defeated Alcorn State 87-62 at Barlow Arena. Taking the No.1 spot at the SWAC Tournament Championship they dominated on the court. With back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference titles the team will advance to the 2022 NCAA March Tournament for the 10th time.

The 2022 SWAC Regular Season Champion Alcorn State enters the tournament as the #1 seed. Texas Southern University is the #2 seed placing 16 in the tournament. The Tigers will be headed to Dayton, Ohio to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the First Four Tuesday evening at 5:40 p live on truTV.
