D. Millz is an American rap and hip-hop artist originally from East Texas. Growing up in the small town of Grapeland, Texas with his childhood friends and family members he was always surrounded by talent which later influenced him as an artist himself. He had old school uncles/aunts that taught him about work ethic & hustle for success; this helped shape who he is today!

With influences from across America’s heartland with an eclectic mix of music in his vocals which includes the likes of Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross as well as Chaka Khan to humble beginnings in the projects called The Quarters. “When you’re trying to get your point across It enabled young men like me to stay connected through common struggle while still maintaining our individual differences” D Millz explained.

D. Millz is a versatile artist that can sing rap and freestyle inspired by the likes of Texas legends including Lil Flip, and Slim Thug ESG Z-Ro. He has been heavily influenced by Nipsey Hussle – authentic humble demeanor with an influence from Houston or Dallas small town grit mixed into it all. When asked if he feels pressured to make club hits? D Millz replied “No” because what makes him more special than other artists isn’t just one type of sound but many different styles which gives everyone something unique about themselve
